We have many instructors that started with us with no teaching experience. Through our "Teaching Training Program” and Class Room Observation program, they have gained the information and experience necessary to become great instructors and have excelled as excellent teachers!

No. Most instructors do teach all ages, but we understand that most excel at teaching specific age groups. This would be further disused during the hiring process.

This program is designed for all teachers that wish to join Groove Academy, (teaching experience or not), that helps align our teaching philosophies and goals together. The program also presents all our company terms, conditions and policies which will help you understand our company more before starting.

Yes/No. Not all courses would be required before you start. But there are specific courses that MUST be taken before you begin. Please contact us to discuss further.

Yes. For some sections there will be graded quizzes. Some quizzes will require a specific grade before moving onto the next section.

Our instructors have the option of teaching: In-studio, In-home or Online. Some instructors take advantage of all three options and others only one. The decision is left up to the instructor.

We teach a variety of instruments, not limited to: Voice, piano, guitar, violin, drums, bass guitar, ukulele, woodwinds, brass.

We offer online lessons right across Canada, from Nanaimo to Halifax. We offer In-home lessons in a few provinces and have 1 physical studio located in Winnipeg, MB.
